2001 park ave takes a while to shift
When I drive my car its slow to shift and also gets stuck shifting like it has no accelerarion. It never stalls on me though. Now some people saud it was the egr valve and a lot said it was the tcc trans solenoid. Idk what it is other than that the engine and tranny is fine and btw its a new transmission and the check engine light is on but qhen I use the scan tool it doeant give me a code just says pass. Any advice would be nice thanks.

from what i can tell, its unrelated. thats just from searching the forums so i could be wrong.

i would take it to a tranny shop that can test it with a special transmission code reading tool they plug into the obd2. be careful where you go though, find someplace free.
thats how i found out what was wrong with mine. the zone couldnt find any codes.

Here'* what that code is, https://www.gmforum.com/obd-ii-trouble-shooting-153/p1133-284141/ Start with fixing that. Then see if the shifting problem is still there.

Thanks my story is a bit simular to yours, but i didn't spend that amount of money you spent and i just bought the buick a couple weeks ago. Weird thing is it'* a nerw transmission dunno why it would be doing this. The transmission has 60k miles on it. Danthurs what would be the part that i need? Would it be the HOS?
