Welcome to the forum Jon. I moved your post into the appropriate section for better visibility, our techs don't always get into the introduction threads so it'* best to ask mechanical questions in the appropriate mechanical threads.

Can you give us any more information? Does it make any sounds? Is there a specific time it does it? Do you notice anything else going on when it dies?

Welcome to the forum. More information on your problem would be great, as there are different things that could cause your car to die.

car will die like you shut off the key when it'* hot and will restart
no codes showing
fuel pressure stays at about 56 lbs even when it dies
it will die just sitting there idling

i wouldnt think it would be old enough to have something go bad, like i said look for loose sockets pinched wires, etc.. leave it running and start poking around the fuse/relay box, tugging on wiring harness, see if you can narrow it down

I resently had a problem VERY SIMULAR! Like you, at first I used a fuel pressure tester and could see no drop when dieing , then after replacing parts that didnt need it and much other testing, I did the fuel test again AND WATCHED THE GUAGE LIKE A HAWK! I found the pressure droping, it only takes about 3-4 seconds for the pressure to drop to zero and the engine would die.

The bigest problem I had was getting the car to do this stalling in the driveway with the tester installed.

Like you! If I turned the key off after it died and then back on it would run for a few seconds and die again, the car is just running off the prime shot. Try your tester then!

After I found this drop in fuel pressure , it was like light at the end of the tunnel for me! I knew it was either the pump or the wiring. First I riged up a test light for the wire that supplyed 12v to the pump to see if power was droping out.
Them I got one of those in-line amp meters from harbor fraight (12 bucks) and I pluged it into the fuel pump fuse location.

What I found was the when the engine dies, my test light was on steadly and the amp meter would climb to 14.5 amps as the pressure was droping. Thats to many amps!!

I had a internal fuel pump problem that was intermitent.

95 old cutlass
64k miles
orignal fuel pump

I'm now on about my 8th day after the new pump replacement, NO PROBLEMS!!
