never mind, it was counter clock wise. i was helping my mechanic friend(heavy equipment not automotive) and when i actually crawled in the trunk it was obvious which way but still could not beat the thing off. But remembering that another mechanic that i talked to said beat on the tank and sometimes it will free up the pump so i figured i had beat on the pump enough i plugged in the wired and hooked up the lines and presto the thing started. but when i rev up to about 4000 rpm it stalles, should i still change the fuel pump?

hi this is dave, i was the one who posted the stuff this morning on travis'* account up above in this thread, cause he was helping me with the car and we had his account on the computer. Well we finally got the fuel sender(Fuel pump) ring off without the spanner wrench since nonone around here seems to carry them. I beat and my mechanic friend got back and he beat on it so I sprayed some more Pb blaster for the 3rd time and let it sit and we got a bigger hammer lol it finally broke loose. I have never had that much trouble with one. So if this helps anybody else, the access on a 99 park ave is in the trunk up under the passenger speaker side, some newer models are under the back seat i have heard. Thanks for all y'alls help
