So I was driving home last night and my Low Oil light was on - I have never seen it lit before. Of course it was dark so I waited until today to take a look at everything. Oil was barely registering on the dip stick so I jacked it up. Little bit of oil pooled up around the drain plug but the pan beside it had oil dripping from multiple spots and fairly consistently, hence why I have had 4+ quarts of oil go missing from my car. Here is a pic of the part, and yes, my dumbass tried to tighten the bolts and broke one, so now I have to deal with that as well.

The pan you have labeled "M6", is your transmission fluid pan. I highly suggest you get that broken bolt fixed. That'* why you have a drip of red trans fluid(end of arrow).

As far as the low oil light and barely any oil on the dipstick, I suggest you top it off with about 1.5 quarts of oil. Start with a full quart, then add a little bit at a time.

Now, go to the car wash and find a way to wash the whole bottom side, back side, and front side of the engine. Everything below the valve covers. When you park your car for the final time tonight, place a large piece of clean cardboard so that it cover the entire engine and transmission area underneath. We want to see where if any drips are coming from.

I broke the bolt myself because I saw that it was leaking around the sides of that M6 pan and I was trying to tighten anything that I found was lose. So you are telling me that has nothing to do with my oil problem?

Brent if you have lost so much oil it probably is coming from the oil pan gasket or oil pressure sensor above oil filter. Also the trans pan is probably leaking as well with the bolt broken. I normally in these situations get a engine cleaner spray & water wash the whole area down from above & below, then have a better look.
Mike'* idea of cardboard under is good you can tell where the drips are and how much each is leaking, after washing it & wont be mixing as easily and oil drops are more brown whereas trans fluid is reddish.
I would definitely/ immediately, get the oil level full again and also ensure the trans fluid is checked now & after after driving a while when it is hot, running in park, get it on the full mark- add slowly= keep checking.
I would also roll up some cloth or j-cloth in a round fashion leaving some outside the hole to grab on later to remove, to plug up the hole in trans pan before washing. That way water wont get in there as a precautionary step.
Anytime you get an oil light it should be checked immediately. Continuing to drive is not a good idea. I always have extra oil in the trunk to add should I need to day or night.

Your trans leaking oil has nothing to do with your ENGINE current oil level.

Once you top off your engine oil, we need to determine where the oil is going. Most of the time with 3800'*, its either....
A. Valve cover gasket
B. Leaking oil pressure sensor
C. Oil pan gasket

Mile, that isn't a 3800 oil pan......it'* a 3.1/3.4.....and it'* leaking on the back side, away from the filter and oil pressure switch......lower intake or valve cover or seal at dummy distributor shaft?

That is clean looking oil....a recent oil change?

Not recent at all. I was in the process of changing the engine oil only.

Oil still visible on the dipstick would indicate 1 to 1.5 quarts low, which isn't all that odd on an older car over the course of an entire oil change. What make you think you lost 4+ quarts? If that happened all at once and you kept driving, the engine would seize up before too long.

How far up in there did that bolt break off?
Usually when you over tighten it is almost a flush break, or close to it, it looks more like a bolt was removed, and not put back
As the others said, that needs to be replaced or you will always have a slow transmission fluid leak, and if not constantly monitored till you fix it, you could run really low on fluid, and possibly damage something with the transmission internals.
