99 Buick Regal Randomly stalls...
I have a 99 Buick Regal 3800 Series II Supercharged VIN 1. I'm not sure but I believe I am having electrical problems. Service Engine Soon, Check Engine, ABS, Traction Control, Low Coolant, Low Tire, almost every light I have will come on randomly and all at different times. Some lights come on with others. The main problem is the random stalling of the vehicle though. It runs great but it will just randomly stall out. I can't pinpoint it to any certain speed or RPM. I don't notice it at any specific temperature. I did notice that sometimes the Traction Control light will come on if I hit a bump or if I'm turning left sometimes. When the car does stall out sometimes I can put it into neutral and start it back up but most of the time it won't even roll over. I let it sit for an unpredictable amount of time and it will start back up. The last time I drove the vehicle, after I started it back up, if it idled it would stall. I proceeded to keep the accelerator down all the way home to keep it running keeping the RPM'* up so that it would not stall. That was a few months ago. Just yesterday I started it back up to move it and I took it somewhere about 5 minutes away and it ran great the whole time. I had it idling and revving for at least a half hour before driving it too so it was definitely up to normal running temperature. Please help.

A bad CPS can cause THAT much havoc??? I'm seeing a possible bad ground somewhere.
Make sure your battery cables are corrosion free and tight.

he says when its bad it wont engage the starter so yep the primary power is being lost intermittently. go over and clean the ends on your big power and ground cables, not just the battery side.

If the car starts and stalls unless you hold a high throttle percentage. And when it stalls if you hold the throttle it stays running. Most likely this is the fuel pump resistor
Bend the tab out when it happens the next time. If the car runs fine then it'* the resistor. The new kits typically install and are bolted to the firewall right above the engine in the center because it'* such a pain to swap in the wheel well where GM located the original.

PS.. normally I'd say crank sensor..but you posted enough info that it sounds like the ever common SC W body resistor.

not likely, still sounds like low voltage situation. unless the lights come on as its stalling then the alt wouldnt be putting out full power
