Default '04 Lesabre and braided brake line to ABS

'04 Lesabre. Anybody know why GM used a combination of steel tubing and braided stainless brake line that connect the master brake cylinder to the ABS module? I need to replace both brake lines and was wondering if I manufacture a replacement brake lines without the braided sections will it causes problems or failures.

You can buy braided brake line repair kits. The braided section it to eliminate flex vibration from body torque ect. Eliminating the braided part will be fine but eventually a line will begin to leak due to the flexing.
