Default Friction Master Ceramic Pads, AWESOME!!! No Dust!!!!

These brake pads are incredible!!! Before I had to clean my wheels once sometimes twice a week and I only live three blocks from where I work! Now after using the cermaic pads, I have gone three weeks and really haven't needed to touch the wheels at all. My car needed to be washed sooner than the wheels did!!! I highly recommend these pads, around $45 at Advance Auto.

I use NAPA Cerimix. Any name brand ceramic is a definite improvement. I use to hate washing the wheels. The GXP shreds carbon base pads.

Hmm, I got ceramic pads and they do seem to make less brake dust, but it'* still there.

Maybe I shouldn't have gotten Dura-crap I mean Duralast from autozone.

They all dust to so me extent I think, but the OEM dust is black as coal and ultra miserable to get off the wheels.

Try a high end brake pad from Akebono or Bendix, and you'll see and feel the difference.

I'm also using Friction Master pads on my Bonneville. I have a set of Akebono Pro-ACT Ultra Premiums ready to go on when these wear out. I'm annoyed at how much they squeal though, and they're only half worn.

Why does everyone use those pieces of crap? No offense man, but that'* a pretty ignorant statement. Mine were MELTED when I took them off my regal after a week of driving. I was really pissed that I had to redo my brakes because of $60 pads that smoked up every time I pulled a hard stop from 40-0mph. I finished them off after one stop from 70-0. You couldn't just smell the smoke, you could see it!!!

Worst crap I've ever used in my life. There are much better pads out there.

I have them on 3 cars.Been on them for about 8 months now and no issues what so ever.It sounds like you got a bad set of pads.I work there part time and they dont get returned that often.are you sure you didnt get the golds instead? Now I have seen alot of the golds returned.
