Default Leaking Oil

So while buddy at AMP (tire shop for GM in town, totally separate though) was changing the oil on my 05 GXP, he called me to take a look underneath. The oil filter and the pan were covered with oil, now she’* booked in for an appointment.
Could that be the oil crossover lines?

I remember last year I mentioned to GM that my oil sits around the "refill" level between every oil change, they said that’* "normal" for a GM car to lose between .5 to 1 litres of oil between every oil change. It clearly was more than 1.5 litres lost, but good luck convincing them.

So my car is booked for an appointment, February 22nd, 2011
Hoping to lose the engine by then, and the tranny, and maybe the damn AC clutch because it only engages when it wants too, oh yea, and that’* normal

You must still be under warranty?

Might as well get it all fixed while you can. How long you got left if you are?

Random guessing here Sam. Oil crossovers been a problem with our engine, oil pan gaskets not so much. My engine burned about a quart the first oil change, half the second, and nothing since. 50k miles. Time for another Dealer?

Mike, the guy showed it to me, I left then when I remembered to take a picture the car was down already

Tom, yes still under warranty till April 2012 that'* why I'm not panicing ahahaha

John, I just took a quick look at it, could be coming from the top, buddy also wrote on the paper "replace hoses" what hoses I have no idea, they booked me in for monday the 17 but I leave on holidays for a month on the 18 so bad timing, I booked it in when I come back. Sadly.. They are the only dealer in town, the closest one is in edmonton 500 km away from me

The mounts are fluid filled. They are a PIA to change. I saw a dealer lower the whole engine cradle while supporting the engine to get it out. It is right behind the radiator in front. It was a $600 job w/ labor. Holy Shiznit, Batman!

One of the best ways to check for one is one I cringe to say. Making sure the car has a good parking brake and on, have someone you trust put the car in low, hold the regular brake firmly and throttle slightly. Observe the engine from the side of the car. A small given play will be observed. If a mount is broken the engine will have a much greater play. And this can hurt many different thing on different engines depending on what lines and type may not have the slack for the extra play. I know this description is rather vague, but usually a broken mount will give you enough play to say, "that'* not normal".
