I saw two posts on here about flashing headlights, but neither post really addressed what I'm seeing with my 2004 GXP. With the car at idle and not in gear, the headlights will intermittently flash. It can be dark outside or it can be in the middle of the daylight, but always when the car is in park. The flashing is at any specific rythm or timed flash. Once you put the car in gear, the stay on without any flashing.

Is there some sort of DRL sensor (or other type of sensor) that could cause this? I have no problems with any of my other lights. The fog lights do not flash when this occurs. Only the headlights.

is it the high beams or low? i would look at the inputs for neutral position, this is from 01 so not completely sure its the same but thats what i have

I should have said that it does this with the headlights on "Auto". I haven't tried turning them to the "on" position and see if I still have my problem. The lights are on low beam when this problem occurs. I haven't tried putting them in bright mode with this problem. I guess I should and see what happens.....
I'll post back my findings after some experimentation and maybe it will help diagnose things!
