Default GXP with emblem on rear

ordered some GXP emblems from e-bay for about $15.

Thought the rear of the car could use one. After much thought, I chose to mount it in
the center of the deck-lid.

Looks good!. I got new NorthStar OEM badges for the STS off Ebay and put them next to my GXP badges. GM should have given us the courtesy for a car stickered at near $40,000.

I removed my "Bonneville" and "V8" emblems on rear and put the N* emblem where the V8 used to be.
Sorry no pics.

No offence, but I don't like it. You have mixed fonts and an atypical placement all on the same panel. Three badges in such a small area looks crowded and too much like an afterthought. Also, it isn't well centered.

DDALDER,

I have read some of your threads and I know you are a "purist" who likes to make stuff look stock and there is nothing wrong with that. I have been impressed with some of your ideas and your work. But if you look at some of the brand new pontiacs on the road today, that is EXACTLY what they are doing (photo below), putting 3 badges on the rear, mixing fonts, and crowding one side which makes it look off center, along with crowding the entire rear end of the car - almost exactly like what FRANKAR15 did. So, technically, he is doing exactly what pontiac does.

I know everyone has his or her own personal taste and doing little things like this make each of our cars "our own" and we will not all agree on each others ideas, etc. Personally, I liked the idea so much I am doing the same to mine. Only, I put the GXP emblem just to the right of where it says Bonneville. So now it says BONNEVILLE GXP. I plan on removing the V8 emblem and putting a Northstar V8 badge there. I want people to know what it was that just passed them on the highway when I go by. I don't think that Pontiac did a very good job of advertising that on the rear of this car, so I will take care of it myself on the one I own.

I didn't center the whole badge. I imagined the checkered area was not there and centered
the "X" with the in the center. Although from the pic, it does look off a little..Camera angle?
