Default GXP Headlights..

Is there any difference between the non gxp and gxp headlights? Im thinking about getting new headlights and i wanna know if the 2000-2005 headlights will fit (non GXP and GXP)?

They will fit, I know the little caps over the bulbs are black instead of chrome, I painted mine when I made my headlights and I like the look because it darkens the whole housing a little bit

It will fit yes. The main difference is in the harness, the low beam goes off when the highs come on. Not sure about appearance differences.

I wonder if that is in the harness or something to do with the electrical and relays

The GXP headlights are slightly tinted. I believe the 04-05 SLE'* had the same headlights as the GXP'*. The 00-03 SE/SLE/SSEi lights are not tinted and have chrome caps inside

Hmm yea you're probably right. The relays probably shut the power off to the low beams

also the GXP uses a 9011 bulb for the high beam instead of the 9005
