Default Nice test run...

Last night at 1am we got a call from Brinks that the wifes office was breached at both doors. We live about 35 minutes from it. I-5 is a major Freeway between the 2 points with a 70MPH limit. Since there was very little traffic I opened up the Bonne. At 140 I started closing in on some cars so I let up. It felt like it had somemore but who knows since I have seen it rated at 141 top end. Before I get too many pot shots I will tell you this tank of fuel doesn't count against the economy. It was very stable at that speed. I wish I had checked the insta economy at that point but looking away from the road wasn't a smart option. (like doing 140 is ) A couple notes.. At about 110 I came upon a car in the fast lane that didn't realize I was in the other lane and decided to move over. At high speeds remember what great brakes this car has, and DON'T MASH EM unless you have to. It wasn't a close call but just worth mentioning on the brakes. The best part was going by a red camaro at about 100.. I could see his lights lift as I went by but he didn't last long. I had a good 20 MPH run on him and it just got smaller and smaller. No idea what they are speed rated at. There'* probably about 5 people that are telling their friends... "All I know is it was silver, I think"

It'* not too often you get anopportunity to play like this and that is the fastest I have ever driven by about 10 MPH, but I felt very comfortable doing it. I will end with this, PLEASE do not take this as a reason to top what I did or bench race me. I understood I was risking my life doing this and any one simple error and I am talking to my maker instead of you fine folks right now. Always limit your risks and be as safe as possible so if the error is made, your the only one at the scene paying for it.

Buzz, you're the man!
I had fun reading that, especially the lights lifting on the camaro part. That bonne kicks arse.

I told my wife last night I wondered if anyone would ask about this. Too funny.

My wifes office is inside a small mall. I guess the mall was left unsecure. The local police saw and they went in and checked the place out for bad guys. My wife'* employees left her front door unlocked, so when the police went in to check it out the alarm went off. They left by the other door and locked the place up, so Brinks saw both doors breached. In the end it all added up to a fun trip for me and the Bonne.
