Default Is this normal?

Last night I replaced the front disc pads on the GXP and while under there I noticed rub marks on the inside of the fender well. Thought it was kind of odd but needed to ask here to see if anyone else had noticed this.

By the way, 18000 miles on the car and the pads were down to near metal. Replaced originals with Wagner thermoquiets.

Dont know that it'* right but ya it'* normal.... least on my car as well. They really stuffed the tires in there and I notice scuff marks as well, even before I slammed mine with hydraulics.Probably just happens when the front end bottoms out and with how the roads are around here, it happens.
