Although Bonneville needed V8 power in a luxury, big, sporty sedan class, I will miss the SSEI. I've enjoyed plenty battles with my 240hp/280lbs torque. I've ran with the big rollers and the wannabees many times. My friend Orelon has a 1990 7 Series BMW (12 Cylinders-269hp, top of the line for then). We ran with my 02 bonny in front on the highway the whole way(Summer 2002). Maybe in 5-10 miles he would've taken me, but 0-5 he had to respect Jacky! He said at one time his dash even read ??? and he couldn't believe he was still in the rear. So Aurora V8 vs. Bonny SSEI, I'll take my supercharged 240hp over the heavier, but anemic 250hp/260torque V8. Actually I will miss both. The Aurora was also a nice ride. Who knows maybe a supercharged V8 is in the future. Dreams sure are nice!
