Dont think it'* ever been done by a member here. I think all trim pieces "pop" out, I had 2 off but not the radio trim. A butter knife , watching not to break the tabs. LOL Why would you want to take it out. That Monsoon is tied to everything. Onstar, engine diagnostics, XM, phone. It has a theft deterrent alarm as well. So be ready for noise.

I'm not takin it out, I'm wanting to hook up my XM directly to my stereo with the XM professional install kit to keep all the wires hidden. My car didn't come with XM from the factory. And I don't want to break off any of the tab'* on the dash trim. I hate rattles.

Ya, you have to be careful. It helps to know where the tabs are, but if your patient you should see where to avoid them. It seems to work best to pry it out right next to the tabs.

Thanks Tim, I got it. Cubo, I forwarded you a copy to the email you registered with. Now I'll try to convert it to post in Tech info. Tim do you have the whole manual in PDF?
