Does anyone know location of PCV Valve on a Northstar motor?

I looked in the Manual and cant find anything on the PCV Valve as to where its located or when to replace it or the part no.I looked at the motor and didnt see anything place where it would be.I did find a part no. for the gas filter for the 3.8 V6 motor but nothing on the Northstar for a gas filter in the manual so I got one from Advance and installed it.The one I removed had the same part no. on it as the one in the manual had for the 3.8 V6.Also I could not find what mileage to change the gas filter but they all used to be 15,000 miles and thats what my car had so I changed it. If anyone has any knowledge on the PCV Valve please let me know. Thanks
