Hey! Has anyone seen a GXP or GTO on the road yet? I live in Atlanta, GA where cars rule. I've seen countless new Maximas, Magnums, 300s, etc. I've seen more Bentleys on the road than GXPs or GTOs. They are stuck on the lotts down here at rebated/discounted prices and still are not moving. Maybe its the price. $30k+ is alot to pay for a Pontiac especially when a few thousand miles and or a year will bring it down a minimum of ten thousand less than the new car price. I told the dealer that I'd see the GXP in a used car ad, but now I might be able to get a year old demo because no one is buying. I don't think Pontiac sales have been great this year, excluding the Grand Prix. Pontiac needs to make real changes and enhancements to keep up with the competition or else I think the Bonny might be next to follow the Grand Am on the way out the door. Thats my two cents.

Seen a few GXP'* around here, no GTO'* on the road, but plenty at a lot in Syracuse NY when I was down there.

I was chillin out back on my deck a few weks ago and I kept hearing the SWEETEST sounds of exhaust flying by inthe neighborhood. After a while I walked out front to see what it was. And there she was! A brand new Black GTO. Slowly turned the corner, went down about 4 houses, and then dropped tha hammer. I was in awe! I WANT ONE!!!!

Ya huh....a 5.7L V8 crammed into nothing bigger then a J-body, and outfitted to the max, plus a hella sweet interior.

I think its a thing of beauty and I'm not a huge fan of small cars.

I've seen numerous GTO'* and GXP'* on the road. Saw a few GTO'* at the track, and one of the MIGPC members also owns a Blue GTO and brought that to dyno day (put out 308hp to the ground with 600 miles on it). I followed a black GXP with dark tinted windows for about 8 miles two days ago in my dads Turbo GP. Pulled up next to him rolling about 30mph, dropped it in neutral and gave him a rev or two, but he didn't want to play. :( (which is a shame 'cause it would've been a close race) There is also a different person that lives in my friends subdivision that has a Black GXP...it doesn't have the tinted windows though...but its a sweet looking car!

I've seen a pearl white GXP in Alexandria (ME WANTS!) Just two blocks earlier I was just drooling over it'* identical twin (another pearl white GXP) in the dealers parking lot. In July when I was in Stevens Point, Wisconsin for the Iola car show and swap meet I saw a grey GXP at a stop light, but my dad was driving and I was sitting in the 4th row of seats in our van.
I've seen 2 GTO'* -one blue GTO in Minneapolis last weekend on the way to the MNBC meet at Jason'* and a black GTO on HWY 71 near Long Prairie, MN.
Those are my only 'on-the-road' sightings.

Hell i saw 3 GXP'* today.
1st one on campus (SWEEEET) i'll get pix later, it'* the dark gray color, and I must say it'* nice. They have a gold parking permit, so i bet it'* a staff member who'll be there year round.
2nd one was at the dealer, a black one, i dunno if it'* the black one that was there in April/May, but it'* the same spot and color...
3rd was a white one turning into River Hills mall. i almost went after to chase them down, but it woulda been a VERY quick duck to follow them turning, and looked bad to invite them into the club.

I've seen a couple of GXP'* on the road. My cousin owns a GTO, so I've seen that one a couple of times. HOT CARS!

See the problem? Everyone has seen maybe one or two here or there. They are not seen in a numerous amount everyday or every other day. Thats not right. Maybe people are just waiting like me to possibly buy used. If I wasn't married w/baby, that GTO w/ the 18" or 19" chrome packages that the dealers are offering down here would be sweet. The GTO is starting to grow on me. Has anyone seen a GXP w/ chrome wheels yet?
