Default Lower Air Deflector Replacement

Last Friday on my way home from outta town, my lower air deflector decided to break off. This relatively cheap plastic cover plate is held in place with several self tapping plastic screws. All of my reckless speeding must have jarred the deflector loose and it required replacement.

The defector itself is $25 CDN and installation is dead easy. If it breaks on your car, make sure you pick up some screws, they are one time use, when it breaks...the plastic screws are useless. The SSE Bonnes and Auroras ride very close to the ground, there is enough room to fit your head under there...or jack it up..lol.

Good fun, protects the bottom of the rad and some of the innards, nice little cover plate down there...to bad it breaks easily

Ok Jim, we all know you just hit a beaver at 200kph, no use hiding it.

When I bought my car the air dam was already broken off which explained the ugly remnants of broken plastic. Glad I got the chance to get a new front bumper with a nice new air dam. It JUST clears the curbs when I park.

Yup...and at that speed that air dam shaved it quite a bit as well.

:
I could come up this weekend and install a speed governor on the Aurora. Lets say max speed 110kph.

You know that driving an Aurora at 200kph makes the hitting the shaved beaver all that much better

Seriously tho, so far, I replaced the rear air shocks and the radiator, just wear and tear issues. So far so good

Jim, same thing happened to my old Aurora, I've replace that air dam before.
Watch out for hard starts, it'* the FPR going. Very common northstar problem
