Default electrical short?

Hello everyone
New to the forum, looking for some direction. I have a 2004 bonneville gxp, i have had it now about a year my problem is the dash is not working the lights, turn signals, and check engine light work nothing else no guages no odometer no dic no security light miles wont count when not working every so often it will just start up i get everything or nothing

Welcome to the forum. Not sure what your problem is, but a lot of Bonneville GXPs are hitting the salvage yards with failed Northstar engines. You may consider purchasing a used dash assembly and swapping it out to see if it solves the problem. The swap out is fairly easy.
