Default Decisions, 1997 Aurora or 1997 Riviera

Hear ye, hear ye......People in N* land.

I am relatively new and I own a 90 SSE Bonne. But I've been eyeing an '97-Aurora for a while. I reently came across a '97 Riviera (*-charged) for about the same price w/ about the same mileage. Now I'm faced with a major decision on which to get. They both required premium fuel and both post about the same numbers in performance. They're both extremely unique and nice luxury vehicles. I know they are both made from on the same chassis. So which decision should I make?

V8 or V6 (*-charged)....
2 door or 4 door....

See what I get for shopping around...

HELP ME?!?!?!

What would you like better? DOHC V8 power, which will fly on the top end, or get the V6 which makes a sweet stoplight car.

That about sums it up. Although I think there are more mods for the L67 than the Northstar. I might be mistaken on that.....

My preference would be low-end grunt. That'* the Riv. If you like to drive fast in the great wide-open, the Aurora would be your choice.

Thats what it comes down to...

Personally, if the Aurora is equipped with the Autobahn package...get that instead of the Riv, its nicer on the open road at high speed. The only downside to the V6 SC 3800, is the body is kinda heavy in that Riv, and the exhaust is VERY restrictive, you won't get SSEi or GTP numbers out of a Riviera.

Damn fine cars tho.

Decisions Decisions.....

Yea, you will need to do a lot if you want a perfomance car out of the riv.

I had the same delmia when I bought my AURORA. I like the high end power, now that I got a L67 I like the low end power too. The choice is yours, do you want a 4door or 2. The Riv'* look nice, but something about the hood I don't like, and the doors are VERY LONG, can't squeeze out as easily in tight spots.

(hinting get the Aurora)
