1994-99 volume control question
Since the original radio/cd 5-eq player died on me a week or two ago (yeah...the rare model), I have both the newer model Delco Cd and/or cassette players with the 7 band eq that I've tried out in my 92 Bonneville SE, and both seem to work beautifully although the CD model is what I've put in.
My question concerns the odd VOLUME **** on either of the newer Delco 7-band eq models...Since the **** seems to turn continuously round-and-round in adjusting the volume, is this the way the units were actually designed? I also found out that sometimes the volume will go higher or lower REALLY FAST when turning the **** either clockwise and/or counter clockwise and seems much more sensitive to volume adjustment than the Delco models from 1992 -94.
I checked with some of my friends who own other 1990 model Ponitacs with the same type units and they told me that this was the case with their Delco units also!
