I was broken into not long ago also (thats what happens when you go to school in Flint MI!). I got a compustar 2w900fmr put on; it has the two way paging, and a remote start. There are a few open relays on it too, so besides the basic dual stage shock sensor, i had a proximity sensor put on as well. Now my bonnie will chirp if you go within a foot of the doors!

The compustar was pricey, but it brings a lot of peace of mind.

Being an installer, please don't buy compustar! There a pita, especially when it comes to programming.

Buy something DEI (VIper, Python, Avital, etc...).

Your 02 is pretty damn easy to do. I could walk you right through it.

the alarm would be for the 03 regal GS and it would need to withstand some nasty winters

Definately not saying that they are bad, but just a humongous pain in the butt to install, and program.
