wiring from battery to trunk in '99

i got the wire through the firewall, but now i need to get it to the trunk. how do i take off the floor panels? how do i get around the back seat?

Actually pull the trim along the bottom of the doors up wherethe carpet tucks underneath. Then run the wire(s) next to the rest of the wiring and when you get to the back seat remove the lower portion of the seat (lift rear of lower portion, and then push back from the front of the lower portion). With the trunk open you will see a gap to push the wire through.
Good luck.

i drilled whole in my firewall as well and ran in underneath the car and i pulled out the back rest of the back seat and ran the wires along the seat... into the trunk... try that...

ya there is PLENTY of room to go under the back seat right into the trunk, and i have 2 gague going through there

yea, but did you just pry up the panels to fit in the wire, or take off the panel and lay the wire down under the carpet? i would like to do the latter

with the 2 gague i just tucked the wire under the mouldings for the front door, around the B pillar and under the mouldings for the rear door, and then under the corner of the rear seat right into the trunk, you would never know that the wire is there, i wanted a completely stealth install

You can run it under the carpet by just prying up the panels. Be careful with the panels though, you dont want to break one. It's tricky to get it past the B-pillar underneath but with a little patience and creative thinking you can get it done.
From there it's easy. Corner where the seat bottom and back meet there is a gap that goes to the trunk.
