7in Double Din Radio??
So I am looking at this Pioneer AVH-4200DVD stereo for my 02 Bonneville. It is a 7in screen and I just want to know if anyone has a 7in screen in their Bonneville. Did it fit right in or did you have to cut a little bit on the molding around it?

I did a lot of cutting behind the dash to make room for wire runs and modules. It looks great once the screen goes in though, like it is meant to be.
I cut out any plastic that was not critical to the dash, made plenty of room for the giant heap of wiring it took to get all my extras in. Most of the stuff is sitting in the very bottom of the center console, but I had to make room to get everything down and for all the wiring. Your going to want a good AC dremel and a plastic bit.

Yeah, I plan on cutting a bunch of the back plastic but I was talking more about the front cover you take off to get to the radio. Did you have to modify any of that to fit in the radio?

Nope, I left the front cover alone. I ordered a double din mounting kit that fills in the gaps around the radio and holds it in, and the cover snapped right back over the radio.

Based on pictures of your headunit, I'm thinking it will fit alright. It wouldn't be a bad idea to pull the panel off and make sure it fits over the radio though since your surround for the screen looks a little thicker than the one on my alpine. Black Friday'* screen has the CD tray on top of it, and buttons on the side making it even bigger than 7" so that is why he had to cut his out. Just take into consideration when you mount yours how it flips out (I'm assuming it is a flip out?). If it is too snug it might catch on the way out.
