Default Best "bang for your buck" headunit?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a fairly cheap but "feature-packed" (to use a buzzword) CD deck for my hawt new Sunbird. Here are some criteria:
-"cheap" as in around $150-200
-Mp3 is nice but not 100% necessary
-decent quality brand, eg: JVC, Clarion, Panaphonics, Sorny, Alpine, Pioneer (I think they are ok?)
-AUX input is nice but not 100% necessary
-here is the lame criteria: I would like it to look decently cool/unique. Haha, now how to define that? Not sure, but I'd like some ideas!

Thanks guys and gals...

This is why I got it:
Problems, it'* not red lit, and hte blue lights are BRIGHT.
No fancy schmancy display like the pioneer at this price point ($350 for this same unit with a super display).

ebay would be your best friend in this case, some great headunits can be gotten in the $200 range if you look around. However, if your going with retail, i woudl stick with pioneer, they make great intro level head units, most of the other budget headunits are pretty much garbage, and the pioneer is much better quality for still decent pricing.

OMG< im actually recommending pioneer.... i hate pioneer..... somethings wrong with me

That is mine and I love it. $220 for everything (I got mine for $200 however from Crutchfield because it was in the Outlet section) The display is awesome and it is great if you connect an iPod. The stock speakers sounded 2x better with just the headunit and with my new speakers, everything sounds amazing. I love the ****, you can control pretty much everything with just that. The only thing I don't like is how it is blue and the otehr lights in the car are redish. But I think it will look great once I get my inside blue neon lights.

I got my Pioneer DEH-17 for about $100 including the mounting kit and wiring harness. It doesn't have any MP3, but it sounds great, and I kinda like the blue display panel.

I'm liking the Rockford units, Pat. Is there any reason they seem so cheap? (on ebay at least) Is there something I'm missing, or are they just not produced anymore?
