What can I use to remotely activate my lights?
I want to be able to turn on neons, four ways and angel eye rings from like 50 feet away. I figure since Bulldog Alarms suck anyway I can just pick up the "Alarm" below and take it apart to use just it'* transmitter and receiver with my own system of relays and timers. Does anyone know of a cheaper way to acheive the same? I know I can build the whole thing myself, but i like the small size of the transmitter in the "Alarm".
Model 802 Alarm
One piece self-contained alarm system with a built-in 127db siren
One wire ten minute installation
Four button extended range remote transmitter with slider protection
Remote adjustable onboard electronic dual stage shock sensor
Special situations - Stops false alarms
Remote programmable current sensor
Selectable voice or chirp by remote transmitter
Full time instant panic
Remote car finder
Scan deterrent
Code learning
Automatic passive arming-will save 5% to 23% on car insurance with most companies
Our Price: $38.85 each

I remember seeing some fog lights that used a remote to turn on & off the fog lights. I saw them at Autozone awhile back. Ill check to see if they have em still tomorrow when I go to get a new air filter. Just curious on why build this system?

Well do you have an aftermarket alarm already. If you have an extra channel you could rig all your lights to one switch and use that for the extra channel in the remote. Most alarms are 4 channel remotes. If they can pop a trunk or make your window go on or turn your heated seats on, I'm sure your lighting push button can be rigged up.
About those remote fog lights, Almost ordered a Hella set like that for my girls accord, ended up getting a different hella kit with a extra switch I put under the steering colum.
Also you could probably wire it up to all flash with the lock/unlock evertime you do something, Wire things into the parking lights, thinking that'* were I wired my Eyes into, didn't want a switch installed.
And last like the last guy why? :P
