200 amp alternator
well after much deliberation and very little luck i found a 200 amp alternator for our cars. it is 579.00 but it will be worth every penny to me. i have pulled the 2 capaciters from my car to see if i could help the alternator until then with little effect on anything which from my understanding is to be expected since they are worthless. Any way i found soe 160 amp units that will work for most but i am going to add another 1000/1 very soon. i already have 3 rd top batteries so i should be able jam, have the brights on and idel all day long. oh i went looking for fabrics to finish my install today. i found a matching sweet leather and suead that is the same color as the darker part of my tan dash. i am going to use the leather in the truck and the other on the door panel inserts that are leather now and the floor of the truck....well what is left with the new box it is very and i mean VERY little!!!!

need help. ran new wire and put in an extra fused link. i am o/1 from alt - bat - fuse block with 4 g - amps. the instructions say to read the draw on the amp with a volt meter so i start the car and the dash reads a little out of red then falls. i turned the car off because the directions are having you do this as a test for properly charged batteries because if not they will not warrenty the alt if damaged. i do not want this so i am in the process of making sure all muy batteries are charged good first. i have three so i bought a good charger to day. but any body have any ideas what is up. this is getting very expensive and i need my car.
