Default underbody neon installation?

I am considering putting a blue neon kit on my 90 SSE. I have never done this before, so what is involved in doing so? How are they mounted and wired? Does anyone think that this would be too much for a car that is basically stock? Also what would a kit cost? I've seen some pretty nice setups on this forum, but none on an older model...

Fairly a straight forward install, the kit I got from ebay ($50) came with all the mounting hardware. Not sure for year but in my year there is much to hide the tubes along the sides of the car. Front and rear may be tricky too as the rad and spare tire well are in the way.
Wire any way you prefer, I wired mined to a remote so I can turn them on with the push of a button.
Shop around there are some deals to be had if your willing to wait

mine i had ALOT of trouble hiding tubes... not much room at all... im working on hiding them currently.... for my kit i trashed the mounting hardware and just ziptied... front and rer were easiest on my year car lol.... um lets see, i HIGHLY reccommend a new kit from Streetglow (gold series) due to the lifetime warrenty on the neons if the inner tube breaks, its replaced, if the transformer dies.. its replaced....) those can be had anywhere from 140, to 180.... as for wiring....

i agree with the zip ties. sounds bad but the work very well. do not get small cheap ones but they work well and you do not have to make holes and it makes you able to put them place where normally you could not. hide the bulb if at all possible it will looks so much better. neons are supposed to glow not look like a light buld attached to your car. i love neons but i hate to see them stuck all over a car. i have seen people with a 6 inch neon attached to the dash above the radio....poor car.

most definatly... any car stereo or car aftermarket place will install them.. expect to pay at least $100 for labor (at least around here), maybe less if you know some people....
