Default Best place to tap factory wiring?

I am buying a new 5 channel kicker amp and was wondering where the best place to tap the front speaker wiring was. I could always run it from the doors to the trunk and back but was hoping I could route them from the dashboard somewhere and leave the majority of the factory wiring alone. Also where is the battery cable that runs to the engine? I obviously will want to avoid running speaker cables near it. Lastly does anybody know the Ohm load of the front tweeters?

this is a base model 01 SE without OnStar or Premium audio

Thanks
