Depending on what you budget is you will get a huge list of preferences here. I have Infinity Kappa'* in my car, they sound awesome. I'd say either those, Boston Accoustics, or if you want to shell out some $$ MB Quarts are a great speaker.

Ditto on MB quarts for the kick ***.. Also focal has nice stuff for huge money. Anything at a good specialty shop (not best buy) should be good. Buy the speaker that sounds best to you!!!!

it really depends on how much your lookin to dish out and what your music type is...if you like listenin to stuff with bass and dont want subs go for somethin that sounds real good...infinity sounds good...if your lookin for the best speakers for your $$$ id go w/ pioneer...they sound very good if you have an aftermarket deck...and they arnt too expensive....

Default ONE THING!!

This is to ANYONE! If you are going to change your front door speakers, TRUST ME ON THIS ONE!! You'll want to remove the fabric cover on the stock speakers and put it onto your new ones, in order to seal the woofer to the door panel properly, or you will lose bass. Trust me, i changed out our components in the front doors of our 94 with my dad, and had to go through the hassle of the door panels again because the speakers needed baffles, and the cover which seals the speakers to the doors. If your dont need bass quality up front, don't bother.

Take my word on this one, anyone of you who are looking to change out the speakers. Good luck though buddy, happy shopping too. Try out infinity, they are a VERY solid company, and i have never been turned off from any of their products. But anyways your probably sick of reading my rambling..

go to the store and listen for yourself, I have JL in the back and they sound great but I also have huge respect for any of the companies mentioned above but please oh please DO NOT GET SONY. In the front I have clarion with adjustable tweeters that can be aimed up (my only complaint about the Bonneville is the location of the front speaks.) [/i][/b]

The front speaks aren't bad IMHO, but they are a bitch to get to, why couldn't top mount speakers be used... It wouldnt be too hard to retrofit it to top mount either. If you want a very very very very good image from your front speakers, put the tweeters on your a pillars, you will love them then.
