Ok, I went to order the Pioneer TS-A6980R speakers. I went to theZeb, but there'* no where to buy them! It just says "Where to buy" which brings me to a page to find local stores in my area. WTF!

I tried the "Find online dealers" link and created a 'retail account' at the Pioneer site it linked me to, but it says 'that part number can't be added to your shopping cart'. Says "information on this model is not available. Damn what a PITA!!

I tried Etronics but they say they hold personal checks for 10 days! That'* ridiculous. I don't want to wait 14 days to get these speakers when I can go to Best Buy in town and get them now. But I'd like to save $$ if I can.

Are there any other sites that sell these speakers? Thanks.

I also found a place called Crutchfield Electronics. They seem good. Anyone else know about this place?

How about NowOnSale.com. They seem good, prices are good, but never heard of them. Their ratings are decent too. You're right about Crutchfield, their prices are a bit higher than BestBuy.

from what I've seen ikesound is very competitive as far as prices go. having said that I have not purchased anything from them so I can't comment on their service.

ikesound has very good prices and very quick service. 2 emails and tracking number are sent to you promptly. received my packages from florida (to mn) in under 5 business days (ups ground)

only thing a little weird about them is that the manufacturers warranty isn't good. the warranty is good through them as a store. kinda of a pain in the *** to ship crap back to florida, but heres the way i figured it:

i could go buy my alpine type r components for 250 at Ultimate Electronics, buy an extended "NO QUESTIONS" warranty, and sales tax on top of that. That definately puts you over $300.

u can also buy the components from ikesound for $145 shipped. I figure they're going to be appropriately amped, so hopefully i won't have any problems. But FOR SOME reason if i do, i can always go order another BRAND NEW SET and be at the same price I would have originally paid at Ultimate Electronics.

With UE u would have to pay the money up front, and have the ease of exchange if there are problems.

WIth ikesound, you save money up front, and IF something happens, you have to either wait and ship them out for their warranty, or order a new set. Time is just a little slower this way.

My thoughts!
Thank you , thank you (APPLAUSE NOW)
