my car was broken into. please help me everyone i need ideas
hi everyone. im having a bad week as my car was molested and robbed. the thiefs nade a hole so big around my lock on my door that i had to weld a peice of metal over it and paint it again just so the lock did not keep falling oin my door. then they opened my glove box and ripped out my trunk release buuton to get to the wires and some how got my trunk open and got away with $3000 worth of equipment. 2 kicker sx1250.1 digital amps and 2 s15L7 15'' kicker subs in a custom made box that fit my bonnie. i fixed my door which is now more secure then any new car and i disconnected my trunk release from inside the trunk.
my question that i need help with is how can i secure my new equipment to the trunk so they cant get it again. i had a autopage 2-way paging alarm with cutoff installed and i got an original chrome plated solid steel column cuff off ebay.
can i screw or bolt my speaker box and my amp'* down to the actual metal of my trunk or is there a gas tank under the trunk in my 1988 sse. i dont and i cant afford to get robbed again and im also not going to let that one time stop me from going to competitions and bringing home the trophy'*... please help me as all ideas will be highly appericated.
also is it possible to disconnect my trunk lock and weld a peice of metal of the hole where the lock would have been and just use the trunk release buttom on my alarm remote. . the welded metal wont be seen as the 88 sse have a trunk lock cover. so it will still look normal. what do yous think.
all help is very much welcome and appericated. oh and i just had the 2-way alarm put in once i got robbed as my old alarm got ripped out when i had a new steering column put in. just my luck. i was only with out an alarm for maybe 2 weeks,

This is what I did. I have 2 12'* in my 95. This is when I was young and dumb (in highschool) but i took a piece of plywood and made a cut out to make my trunk flat (well first i dynomatted everything) I took my custom box and then screwed it from the inside into the plywood and into the metal (i dont suggest that). I then put my subs in with square screws (something that not everyone would have a tool for.) But that thing wouldnt budge at all. and my amp is on top of the box right now but you can put it behind the box if you wanted to. But if they want your stuff bad enough they going to take it no matter how hard it is for them. They will find a way, the only thing you can do is make it as hard as possible so their like its not worth it.

they wont get it next time
my car is 10 feet exact under my bedroom window in my driveway, its just last time i had no alarm and my double storm windows were closed as it was still very cold and i have a 4 month old in my house. so i did not hear anything. now i have a sony weather proof infared nightvision camera on a 90 hour digital recorder. and i have a motion sensor which when activated turns on a microphone built inside it and lets me hear everything on a speaker in my bedroom. i just dont want them to have enough time to get it by time i get my *** out of bed and down stairs with my legal 45 acp

My entire trunk was bolted together, false floor that the sub boxes were bolted to and in order to get the amps you would have had to take out the boxes or risk cutting yourself up on the corners of the box. Problem is they stole my car then ripped everything out. (I think someone you know stole everything to know what was in your trunk, or you advertise way to much and someone followed you) (I still think someone I knew stole my stuff because I didn't even use my stereo the night it was stolen)

Best ideas I've seen:
Build the box in the car, Too big to fit out in one peice. Use Liquid Nails and 2" Drywall screws to put it together.
Drill holes through the bottom of the car (or the top or wherever you can get to) Install carriage bolts and put the nuts inside the box. You have to have one side of the box off to do this.
Use carriage bolts to install your subs. 1/4"-20 bolts work well, but you have to have one side off the box off to install/remove.
A buddy of mine does installs in the Dallas area, I'm sure you've heard of their crime rate. This is how he does his.

that is awsome! I want to compete but I still have alot of work to do before i can even break the mid 140'*. As far as your car being broken into, I can't give you advice on the whole resecuring your system thing but i can advice you on what to do when you find the guys that did it. Four words... random acts of violence Actually if i were you, i would talk to the guys that you thought did it and just be cool and laugh it off and say that the police called you and told you that they found finger prints and matched it to a guy (or two) that just happened to live in the area that the guys you suspect live in. If they seem to be squirming, chances are they did it. tell them that you wont press charges if you get you stuff back. Once you get it back, kick some *** and then call the cops on them. but maybe that is what would happen in a perfect world
