Street Glow Gold Series

Hey all

A friend of mine had to sell his 00 Mustang, and he's parting out all the aftermarket stuff he had on it.

He says he's got a red gold series street glow under body kit he's willing to part with for $150 (Cdn)... I was just wondering if that's a good deal or not. I've seen them in stores around here from $250 to $350 (Cdn).

2nd part, anyone here actually have (or know someone) who has SG gold series underbody kits, I'm looking for pros/cons.

Thanks

i had the gold series kit. i broke 2 bulbs, had to ditch a state patrol on main street, plus the side bulbs showed on my car

zzzzzeke, how'd your bulbs break?

Also I realize they are really illegal in most places, thus it would only be for when I'm parked.

Anyone from the 87-91 era have underbody neon on their car? Do the bulbs show?

i broke my bulbs when mounting and once i hit a parking curb in a dark parking lot.
in MN, they're still illegal parked (well at least blue and red)
