Default HU Wiring on 93ssei'*

Is there an easy kit that will allow a aftermarket hu to plug right into the existing wiring on the 93SSEis with the standard sound-tape player??

On my 94 olds I got a wiring harness to plug my hu right in. I assume the SSEis are the same but just want to make sure...

heres a pic for reference...

yes you can get a harness just like your olds....you can even keep the Gain silder if your using the stock speakers.....NOW BE WARNED....you will loose the dimming in the VF display of the ECC if you replace the HU....you can upgrade to the 94+ ECC and Programmer and retain that festure

But to retain that feature by changing the ECC and programmer, you have to rip the freaking guts out of your dash. Totally remove it from the car. Otherwise your ECC will always be on bright.

hmm? I am not understanding. There is an ECC warning light? This car does NOT have CCR but we are talking about ECC so I am a little curious where in the dash we are talking about...

Oh yeah..BTW The gain slider will probably not work after the install unless you add a wire to power the gain amp from the radio.
