Remote Turn On Switch
i got the remote turn wire from my amp tied into my radio so when the radios on, its on. Would it hurt to put a switch in between the amp and the radio? i am wondering because if i want to turn the subs off real quick, or just want to hear my speakers, i could do it. This is what i want to do.

there no problem w/ that at all, essentilly just a master kill switch, all you will need is a simple 10-20amp SPST (single pole, single throw) toggle.

yeah, that will work just fine. I did that with my old system (pyramid 500watt with a blue thunder 600 watt sub (really really really nice ) and I had one of those switches ( i went to a high school that people would like to steal stuff from cars, especially systems) The only thing is that once you switch the amp off (via the switch inbetween the radio and the amp) that you have to turn off the radio before you can turn the amp back on. It was weird, but I didn't care at the time.
