Default 97 Bonneville Speaker replacement

I pulled the rear speakers and noticed that the magnet was stamped 10 ohms.

I've got some old but good Kenwood 6x9s (4 ohm) that I'd like to stick in their place, but I don't want to kill them.

Still have the factory deck. Any thoughts

My only reserve was that I saw 10 ohm speakers in a Cutlass I used to own. I didn't think much of it and plugged in a pair of speakers and blew out one of them for no reason.

Thanks for the reply
