New Amp?
Well, I am trying to find a newer amp that will give me some better sounding bass. I don't think it'* my subs that are holding back, I just think that I'm not getting enough clean power to them. So, what I'm asking is, what are some good brands/ models for 2 channel amps to power my subs. My subs can handle up to 400watts rms, but I don't think I'll really need that much power. I'm not trying to blow anybody'* head off.
If you have any opinions on a certain brandname or anything, feel free to share. I am all ears.

Hey, get the rated power handling in RMS, that could be ur problem now. If you have a lower powered amp and was driving it past it'* power, it would clip, causing horrible signal, distortion, and blown subs.
I have a Directed 400d, it does 400w @ 4 ohms bridged (i think). Works great.
What resistance (ohms) is your sub setup at?

Haha, I feel like a MORON! The problem started bothering me a week or two ago, after I was fooling around trying to finish up my install. So, I went out to look at my amp lastnight, and guess what.... I must have turned off the low pass filter. Put that back on, and now I'm bangin'.
I feel so blonde....
