Replacing factory deck
Yesterday myself and a friend were trying to replace my factory deck with my alpine aftermarket deck. For some reason we cannot get it to work. We get power to the unit but cannot get sound to the speakers. Looking at the back of the deck what is the single red wire that goes to the deck. We also have 3 wires that are in the stock harness but not in the aftermarket harness.(Cant rememer what 3 wires they are but all three are in one of the blocks of the harness.) We are gonna try again sunday night to get it in so if anybody has any ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks.

The speaker outputs should be at locations 1-4 and 17-20.
Looking at the wiring harness (not the radio)
11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
1 - LH Front, -
2 - LH Front, +
3 - RH Front, +
4 - RH Front, -
17 - RH Rear, -
18 - RH Rear, +
19 - LH Rear, -
20 - LH Rear, +
This came from a 94, I think the 98 is the same. Which pin locations have the extra wires?
