Default Questions about 92-99 rear speaker wiring w/ 2 pairs wires

I have an SE, so I'm simply not familiar with what the premium stereo people have. . . There is a setup that has two pairs of wires for the rear speakers. My questions:
What are the factory speakers used in that setup, are they a trebel speaker mounted co-axially to a 6" x 9" bass speaker?
Or are they two speakers mounted side-by-side (like on my wife'* 2001 Grand Prix GT with the factory Bose system)?
And what drives the signals on the two pairs of wires, like is the trebel speaker driven from the head unit, and is the 6" x 9" speaker driven by a small amplifier, and if so where is that amplifier mounted?
That is the setup that has the separate bass control?

Are there any threads with pictures of the rear speakers in that setup?
Are there any threads with pictures of the bass amplifier?

I presume this is all for a non-Bose system.
Or if anyone can just give me a thorough description of how the factory stereo is laid out: head unit, amp, & speakers.

Thanks very much, I just have no example to look at, and my own SE is all aftermarket stereo and only had the cheapie-single pair of rear speaker wiring.

there is a Separate rear tweeter and a 6x9 on the BOSE cars...

the tweeter gets its signal from the HU and has a Bass Blocker to protect it from teh Low Freq, and then only lets the speaker play the Higs.....again this signal is Straight off the HU power

now for the 6x9 is is simply a one way speaker, there is NO coax in the speaker, think of it as a 6x9 subwoofer...this 6x9 gets its power directly from the Bose amp that is under the radio....

on the 92-96 there is a "gain" adjustment, but on the 97-99 there is NO gain adjustement for the rear speakers

i have some pics of the component locations of the amp if you would like to see them

Ah, thanks very much. So the rear has a separate tweeter mounted to the side of a 6"x9" woofer. That makes sense. I note that you mentioned this is with the Bose system. Is there also a premium audio package that is Non-Bose that also has a separate 6" x 9" and tweeter driver pair in the back? Maybe with the Monsoon head unit?

Again, thanks for the info.
I take it the rear deck grilles for the dual-rear speaker systems is different than the plain-vanilla non-premium factory suck stereo in an SE?
