more than likely in the drivers footwell, above the splash panel(by the steering column). get it out, post back model.

are they pretty hard to install? or just a few wires? also do i have to have the passkey module? cuz i dont need the remote start cuz i dont drive my car very much. its just he sending the car to junk yard cuz he doesnt need it and its got alot of miles and a blown tranny, and he just offered if i wanted it.

not too bad to install, your first wil take awhile. You have to be confortable cutting/splicing wires. Soldering is best, but you can do it without. Bypass module is pretty easy, it just dealing with the 2 small wires( I build my own with a relay and resistor, cheaper)
