Default Rear Speakers........Popping

Need some help!! The rear speakers (stock) on my 95' SSEi will "POP" now and then. At first I thought I may have blown a speaker, but it comes and goes. A service writer at the dealership mentioned it also, and said he'* seen it before. Has anyone else experienced this? What'* the cause? And how do I fix it? Also my CD player skips alot, can the player be adjusted so road bumps won't effect the player? Thanks........

Jeff

The skipping CD player may mean that the lens is dirty.

All you have to do is add a 150watt x 4 amp to your system and the popping will stop...

I'm kidding, they probably have too much bass going to them. Try lowering the amount of bass you have set, or go with aftermarket speakers. Although you'll lose the gain control unless you install seperate subwoofers..

Thanks everyone for the info-I'll check the gain, connections, and bass levels tonight. The problem is so intermitant, it'* more annoying then anything else.
