Default I need help connecting a Peripheral Ipod interface

I can't find the connector in my 2002. It says it connects in the trunk to the 6 disc changer connector.
I don't have a changer in my car. Does anybody know. I got half my car pulled apart right now

Take a pic of the back of your stereo
:edit:

Does it look like this?

If it does, I have no clue. It has an AUX button so I know it'* possible, but try following the harness going out of the stereo and see if it has a connector hanging off...

Yes sorry I took so long. I had to get my camera. I got the whole top and front of the dash pulled. I'll look some more.

Is the picture in my post clear enough that you can tell this is the top of the dash as seen through the windshield. My car is a 2001 so it may be slightly different. I am sure there is an identicle connector somewhere near the center of your dash.

Your detail and pictures are great. Thank you for posting that.

I took it all apart last night trying to find that connector with no luck. It'* not there or I'm related to Ray Charles I looked in the trunk as well and couldn't find anything.

I have been calling Peripheral all day long (at work) trying to talk to somebody. Nobody answers the phone. I push to talk with tech support and get put on hold for 30 mins at a time. I end up having to hang up, this is kinda furstrating.

I was able to get ahold of Tech support though email.

Me: I need technical help installing the Peripheral IPod interface in my 2002 Pontiac Bonneville. I looked in the trunk for the connector, but I dont see any.
Tech: It should be located on the driver’* side of the trunk. You will have to pull back the trunk lining to find it.

Me: I did that already. My car does not have the 6 disc changer in the trunk and from what I'm being told, it is not pre-wired for one either. I don't see any other wires in there other than what'* feeding the speakers, gas door release, tail lights and some tinny little box that is mounted in the center area above the trunk lid (close to the third brake light).
Is there somewhere else it could be? Last night in my search I pulled the radio and the whole upper dash out of the car trying to locate it as well as looking in the trunk. My radio has the AUX button so it must be somewhere in there (confused). I have the Monsoon system and the head unit has a single cd with a cassette in it.
Tech: Unfortunately if it is not in the trunk then the vehicle is not pre-wired for a changer.

Me: Ok, so what do I do from here? I paid 100$ for this kit, it'* been to long to return it now. Will it work in my car, or some way to make it work?
Tech: Without the pre run changer cable there isn’t much else you can do. Where did you purchase it from?

Me: I purchased it from Elektech.com
The kit I bought was a PXDP-KG. It seven states it fits my car on your website. It does not say anything about the car needing to be pre-wired for a disc changer. I am a little upset about this, your site should have stated what was required. The only thing I read is that it can't be used with the changer, which I don't even have so I didn't care about that.
I bought this on April 22 for a total cost of $118.20. Their not gonna allow me to return this now. Sure, I should have attempted to install this sooner, but I didn't think I would be having this issue.
Is there anything you can do to rectify this.
Tech: I have forwarded your e-mail to the customer service department who will be contacting you with an answer.
I guess I gotta wait to see if there is some way to make this work in my car. It doesn't look good though :(

I see from your photo that you have wires in the back of the connector in the radio bay.

OH I just thought of something! Since you have wires in the back of the connector, it won't matter if you find the connector I show, because the wires don't get there (2002s don't use the flex harness like the 2001). You will need to add wires to the connector behind the radio. The good news is that you only need to take out the radio instead of the top of the dash. The bad news is that there is damn little room to work back there.

You will need extra pins for the connector that are hard to find (I have some and can send them to you). I don't know how difficult it is to work back there, but if you still want to make it work, I'm confident I can assist you to success.
