Default Front speakers for '98

Alright, here is my problem:
I don't trust web sites telling me what size speakers I have, so tell me people, what size fit in the front door?
AND
What should I put for aftermarket speakers in my front doors? Should I go with the component speakers (such as infinity) that have that "plate" thingy?

Speakers in the front are 5 1/4'* IIRC, someone that knows there stuff will be along soon. Do you have tweeters in the doors as well or plan on adding them?

there are two speaker "holes" if you will, or grills. These are totally stock right now, one is a larger hole, while the other I believe would be for the tweeter.

So what is in there right now, being totally stock, are not compnonent speakers, rather, just a 5.25" "regular" type speaker?

thanks for the response

if both holes are grills then you have the stock 5.25" mid and 1.xx inch tweeter. So technically they are components

but I would question, why not? I do like tweeters for the wonderful wail of a guitar solo by Slash...

I am wondering though, would the extra tweeter drain a lot of extra power from my HU?

All depends on how you wire it up, and what the replacement speakers resistance is.
