How does the neon on the passenger side of your grill not get in the way of the hood release mechanism?

If you mount the tubes like in the first picture... you should have no problems.

Mine are almost mounted the same as Merlin'*. They are far enough from the latch to avoid interfering with it.

I must have a different hood release mechanism than the 96-99'* then. I had to remove the plastic lever behind the grill to be able to make them fit. I'll get some pics up in a week or two.
