Exclamation Radio Replacement

I would like to thank everyone with the fuel gage problem. But i have one more question so i can make this car as it should be, the best.
I was wondering what would be the best radio replacement so i don't screw up the thief lock and im doing this because the display is gone, it shows the left side, but not the right. And i was wondering what would be a good radio to buy to replace it so it fits nice and snug, and not screwing up the thief lock. Thank you

Honestly, the best radio to fit snug and not screw up the thief lock would be another factory radio IMO. Unless you went with an eclipse. They have a feature where every time the radio is disconnected and reconnected, it will need a specific cd to act as an activation key to enable use. If you dont have that cd and put it in first, the radio will be locked and will basically be a huge paper weight. I believe they can even track the radio somehow but im not sure if they do that still. If you use some really crazy cd like the little mermaid sound track or somethin like that, you will be in good shape.

I just put an Alpine w505 with navigation, bluetooth, and Sirius in my 03 SSEi, I think it looks awesome. I did have to cut some plastic out from behind the stock radio to make it fit but it'* no big deal.

I also put a Alpine CDA-105 in my 99' SLE which also looked great. You didn't post your year or trim so I don't know what you've got going on, and as far as theft lock goes, I didn't notice a problem in either car. You just have to make sure everything is installed correctly and using the proper modules/harness.

As far as any concerns with the radio being stolen, if installed correctly, the radio is usually destroyed before they actually get it out.
