Problem Diagnosed. AnyOne ever had this issue? Quick Fix?

So.. I had gotten tired of not having any low end impact. I starting eliminating possible gremlins. Checked remote wire, rca's, speaker wires, So once again i pulled the sub out of the box. The magnent and basket were wet with condensation (i really need to fix this wheel well hole!)
So i brought it inside and put the girlfriends hair drier up to the pole vent to drier up any residule moisture. I used the "Turbo Cool" button so not to heat up the coil. Then I tested each coil independantly. Hooked up coil one "Perfecto"..... Coil Two "Problem Found!" wouldnt work. UNTIL I touch the negitive tensil lead. then it starts playing. I guess the tinsel lead is loose internally. Its touchy. Once i get it working it will work for a while until the bass moves the tinsel lead just right then, no worky. So how can i keep the tensil lead taught, but flexible.
I havent decided if im selling it or keeping it. Either way I need it fixed. I was thinking about pulling it taught and adding a drop of wood glue or epoxy to the hole where the TL enters the bottom of the cone.

Has anyone ever had this happen? how did u combat it? easy fixs?

I think i might use some Foil Tape for a temp fix for the rust hole. That stuff is crazy sticky.

i think i got it licked. Temp fix tho.. I used one of my girlfriends hair ties and looped it around the tensil lead and "tied" it to one of the basket braces. the hair tie is eleastic so it will give as the cone moves in and out but keeps the TL taught
