they wont get insanely lound but they might be a good sub. Jbl is always good equipment

then what does anybody recamend(sp) for around the same price? i want something that plays low and loud.

Its a descent sub. It can hit if you want it to. Not bad for the price.

well i only want 1 and my amp is a older 2 channel power acoustic amp that is curretly puching a friends 2 8'* at 2 ohms.

get a single 4 ohm voice coil sub and run your 2 channel amp bridged to 4 ohm mono
