Ive spent quite some time on here and havent found the issue around the damn 2002 ssei with the monsoon system. Ive got a Pioneer f90bt with the gmos-09 harness. Well, everything works other than door chimes and sound. Ive tried flipping around the connections from antenna to remote to turn on the amp but no luck. My stock stereo still works fine after all this headache so its the remote issue, from what I can tell. I have no blown fuses anywhere. Anyone have an answer to this?

ive got no signal unless the stock head unit is plugged in, so i couldnt reroute a remote turn on if I wanted to. ive got the diagram right here.

you have to give your factory amp a new 12v switched signal. The radio comes on but no speakers right? then its prolly the amp not coming on. Grab a signal from the fuse box like the cig lighter

Well, I now have sound AND chime, but theres a few problems still...

I went BEFORE the gmos box and plugged the remote from my deck to the amp turn on lead on the harness. I now have sound and chime, however its crappy sound.

also...

I only have sound with the vehicle OFF and the door OPEN. If i close the door OR turn the car on, my unit shuts off completely.

Im going to try tapping into the cig lighter and post back with some results. Im hoping I can offer some insight to this issue, or at least let people know what NOT to do.

Crappy sound was resolved by that screw terminal on the gmos box. I had to turn it down. Still the same issues I had before though. Now I remember why I got out of car audio in the first place. Please shoot me in the head kthnx.

id be curious to see what would happen if you actually grabbed a outside 12v, switched signal, and ground. Maybe that would resolve your problem. Please keep me updated

Im going to try another GMOS box and see if I had an issue with mine. Ill be shipping it out tomarrow.

Also a few weird issues.

I pulled my remote wire and still had full sound and chime.
Onstar shut my f90bt OFF until I did a cycle.

The GREEN wire on the GMOS harness was carrying my audio signal for some reason. I believe it was left rear on the harness but I dont have it in front of me anymore so I cant be for sure on the name. I pulled it and lost all sound and chime.
