Default Alpine Speakers cutting out.

I've had this problem for a while now, ever since I got these little capacitors on my alpines (about 2 years ago) and I'm sick of it. I'm wondering if I got a bigger/better capacitor the issue will go away? If that doesnt work replacing them will probably be my next step.. I HATE these speakers. I made the following video to show you what I'm dealing with.

Well back when I was new at audio I had best buy doing it and I blew a set of these and we installed new ones and they put that on to keep them from blowing because he said the low notes were causing them to blow. That was supposed to prevent that. I thought about taking it off since I have subs now, you think that since I do have subs that these will be ok without that?

I guess if they did blow again it would give me a reason to get the polk audios I want

they r crossovers/bassblockers. having the bass turned up on your HU is sending bass to ur interior speakers too, causeing them to blow, adjust your crossovers on ur HU and ur speakers will be fine with out the bassblockers.

is there a seperate adjustment for just ur subs on ur HU?

There is only a subwoofer volume control as far as bass.

The first set I blew I didnt have any subwoofers, now that I have subs Im wondering if taking it off now it wont hurt them at all considering when I unhook the subs theres really no bass like there was before I got subs.

well turn the subwoofer volume up and turn the bass down, and remove bass blockers.
