No offense, but I wouldn't buy Sony subs if it was all I could afford.

Sony amps are ok, but if you have to buy from BB, RF would be a better choice. Again not my first, but it is at BB.

I agree with BonneMeMN.. sony amp is ok.. but stay away from the subs.. they're useless.. they're IMO as crappy as the subs you can buy @ Radio Shack ( that they use to carry on their own )

ok how much prcier are JL over RF?
i wanted these subs ( Rockford - Punch 12" Single-Voice-Coil 8-Ohms Subwoofer P112S should i get 8 ohms or 4?
a box 30 inches wide... will this fit?

and what amp is better? (if it helps i have a pioneer DEH-P6600 deck)

If I were you go ahead with the sony amp and then pick up eaither a set of 10" or 12" JL W0'*. Much better then sony a cleaner sub and not a lot more.

JL will cost more, even w0'*. I'm glad i got mine used. JL is generally not online either.

No matter what you get, get a 4ohm.

Look for the RMS of the amps.. thats what you should look for peak watts are garbage.
